Re: [Chrysler300] Window stuck on C300

Beat on the inner panel about where the motor is. These windows tend to be "use'em or lose'em".
They get dirty or slightly corroded spots on the windings where they sit for long periods of time. A jar or shaking helps to get them past that point and then they will run OK.
You can also try to pull up on the window while working the up switch to help them past this spot.

Also keep in mind that the motor is NOT grounded. You apply + in one terminal and - out the other.
To reverse the motor, you simply reverse those connections, that's what the switch does.

Hello Guys,

I just bought a 1955 C300 with power windows and the rear passenger side window goes down... But won't go up. Do you guys know a way to get it up manually if I take off the panel maybe? Just to get it closed-up before I can get the time to fix it? Or maybe another way?

Thanks,
Josh
