Re: [Chrysler300] Sure Grip Question

Thanks to all who responded to my question. I just talked to the local
Chrysler dealer parts department and he said they had in stock a "Hypoid Gear
Additive" that was for the purpose of reducing chatter. Others have also
mentioned Ford and GM as sources.

GM have a specific positraction additive. I am sure an auto parts store
has an equivalent product. In my cars with Sure Grip (68 Charger) I have been
using Quaker State Synthetic. No additive is needed with this blend.

Also using it in several Oldsmobiles with Posi Traction (GM lingo for sure
grip).

Subject: [Chrysler300] Sure Grip Question

Hello Club Members:
I have a question that I am sure have been asked and answered on this
forum before, but I sure can't seem to find the appropriate email. My
apologies.

1, What is the recommended additive for Sure Grip to lessen/eliminate the
roughness when making tight
turns----especially when hot?

Many thanks.
