SW Airlines just announced a "Super Sale" to Denver on the internet. Fall Travel Super Sale--$49, $99, $139 One-way! Fare depends on miles from Denver. It is good for only 72 hours. Arlys & I obtained tickets from Portland, Oregon to Denver for $99.00 each way including taxes for a total of $395.20.  Zero to 500 miles is only $49.00. Over 1,301 miles is $139.

    The 42nd Annual Fall Meet will be held in Golden, Colorado September 19-23, 2012.  The host hotel is The Table Mountain Inn, located at 1310 Washington Ave. in downtown Golden,CO. This is within walking distance of Coors Brewery (and No, the town doesn’t reek of beer like Hersey, Pa. does of chocolate!) The Meet details have been posted on the Club website EVENTS section since May 1st along with some pictures of the hotel. There will be a registration form included in the next Club mailing of the NewsFlite and Club News and will soon be posted on the Club website EVENTS section. It is not too early to reserve your rooms at the host hotel. Call 1-800-762-9898 for reservations.  Identify yourself as being with the Chrysler 300 Club International to get the special meeting room rate.  The special room rate will apply for up to 3 days prior and 3 days after the Meet for those inclined to come early and stay after to take in many of the attractions of the Denver/Colorado Springs/Summit County area.  The room rates are as follows: Traditional Queen/Queen or King: $129/night; Grand Queen/King: $149/night; Suite with King/Sofa bed for 2: $179/night plus 7.6% room tax.  This includes free breakfast for up to 2 people per room each day. Parking is free in a covered on site leveled parking garage.  Rooms are already being reserved. I highly recommend that you reserve now. There will be two overflow hotels available that are within 2 blocks of the host hotel.  Our block of 50 rooms will be held until 8/3/12.  After that date, rooms will only be available as space prevails for the Club rate. We will be able to expand the block of rooms if demand necessitates more rooms prior to 8/3/12. 
    Meet agenda is as follows:  Wed. 9/19:  Registration at hospitality suite after Noon, Meet & Greet. Thurs. 9/20: 10:00 leave for Cussler Auto Collection private showing in nearby Arvada (pay at door nominal fee). Late lunch on your own as well as dinner.  Business Meeting @ 8:00 pm at host hotel (Reproduction Parts Committee meeting may be announced earlier).  Fri. 9/21: Concours judging in covered garage at host hotel in am.  Tour of Coors Brewery (free) commencing @ 1:00 pm with staggered (no pun intended) tours of 50 people each, every 30 minutes through to 2:30 pm.  Free tasting of samples at end of tour (suggest you walk to Brewery from hotel); LETTER CAR JEOPARDY! 8:00 pm at host hotel.  All prizes 1/24 Danbury Mint Chrysler Products Model Cars (TOTAL PRIZE EXPENSE GIFTED TO CLUB). Sat. 9/22: Car Show 10:30-2:30 at Shelby American Museum ($5 entrance fee to tour museum during show paid at door) in Boulder. Lunch spots within walking distance of Car Show (on your own). Banquet Sat. Evening at host hotel with Cash Bar 5-6:00 with dancing to DJ, Awards Banquet 6-8:00 with Dancing afterwards 8-8:30.  $33.00/person 2 entrée buffet with usual fixings and dessert which includes tax and gratuity.
