I pulled up the car on the Barrett Jackson website, there are 4 photos
shown, none of the engine that I saw. I did notice the windshield was not
correct, but it is a nice car.

Sorry for any confusion Bob about my email, my bad. With out going into
great detail, I did not mean the car was a #2 before the resoration. It was
a 3- driver. What I was trying to convey was that the car was rust free, the
glass was good, the car ran, drove and stopped well. My point being it was a
very original driver that was taken to the next level where the car can be
taken to shows. As the car was not taken off the frame and the drive train
did not need rebuilding, I would not call it a #1 car. I hope that clears up
any confusion Bob, my apologies. I suggest if interested contact Dee. I have
know him for 10 years and have bought cars from him and he is a very honest
person in my dealings with him. Of course, as with any car, a potential
buyer would have to inspect the car for him/her self. Jay R

Jay,
You wrote "I saw the car before and after the restoration and it is a solid
#2 car". Hmmm. Could you explain a bit further for those of us with an
interest in the value of 300G converts exactly what you mean? Why would a
car have the same rating before and after the restoration?

Hello all, A friend of mine put his white 300 G convertible up for sale at
the BJ auction, Orange County today. It brought $105K on the block, but his
reserve was $125K. The car is a California black plate car, rest free, with
acorrect full recent restoration. I saw the car before and after the
restoration and it is a solid #2 car. I spoke with hin tonight and he told
me it was OK to email the club members with his info. His name is Dee, his
mobile # is 951 318-3100, and his bottom line is $110K. if interested
contact him directly. Jay from sunny PA, great convertible weather here.
