I feel his obituary is worth posting here, thus:

Coldwater, Mich. - 
George William Riehl Jr. age 81, of Jonesville and formerly of Ann Arbor,
passed away Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012 at the Laurels of Coldwater. He was born
June 8, 1931 in Cleveland, Ohio to George William and Marie (Jurca) Riehl
Sr. George married Eleanor A. Gaede on Aug. 30, 1952 and she preceded him in
death on Nov. 1, 2006.
George graduated from Berea High School in Ohio, Class of 1949 and later
served in the Army National Guard. George worked as an operations manager at
Clawson Concrete Company. He was a life member of the NRA, member of the
NHRA and many other car organizations. George was also a founding member of
the Chrysler 300 Club International Corporation. During his retirement,
George enjoyed doing mechanical restorations on cars.
Survivors include daughter, Laura (David) Payn of Allen; son, George (Lynn)
Riehl III of Hamburg; granddaughter Victoria Payn of Allen and his two
kitties, Annie and Maggie.
In addition to his wife, Eleanor, George was preceded in death by his
parents.
A memorial visitation for George Riehl Jr. will be Saturday, Aug. 11, 2012
from 1-4 p.m. at the Eagle Funeral Home in Jonesville. In lieu of flowers,
memorial contributions are suggested to the charity of the donor's choice.
