Re: [Chrysler300] 1955 Chrysler 300 Scale Model

I find some of this very interesting stated below in the e-bay listing.  As I understood one of the actual cars that was used for this model is owned by club member Daryl Miller of Normal, IL.  Seems to me this was stated on the assembly instruction sheet.

To verify this I just phoned Daryl and he read me the names credited for "their" cars used to creat the model on the assembly instructions.  There are three, Mr Daryl Miller, Mr. Bill Knaus and the person listed on thee-bay post.  So my interpertation is that not one person's car was used to create this example.  Mr. Miller also advised me he has the original mock up examples to obtain the final product.

Also on that sheet there are colors given for what items should be painted and some are not correct.  I sent an e-mail to the maker as soon as I learned of this with corrections but never had a reply.

Isn't the statement that "The MAXIMUM number of kits you may purchase per household is 3." followed by "Please contact me for exceptions" a bit contradictory?

I don't own one of these models so I have nothing to gain, but I feel as the MYC for the C300 & 300B for this club it is my duty to make this information available.
