RE: [Chrysler300] Remote Power Brake Boosters for J's & ram K's

Rich' Love the old video, The cardone remanufactured boosters look like old Midland units like the 1960 through 1967 Dodge D and W series pick up's used.

This old WWII training film might help one understand how the remote power
brake boosters in our J's & ram K's work. The remote booster is located in
the LF fender well of these cars and is installed due to a lack of
space/clearance on the firewall due to the LHS ram tubes and carb. A
smaller non-boosted master cylinder is installed there on a slightly
different reinforcing plate. This concept was fairly common on heavy trucks
for many years.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=keChCevuKk8 That said, I recently
observed a 360HP-engined 300K that had been retrofitted with rams and had a
tiny bit of clearance between booster and carb base. The MC outlet was
changed from the end position to the down position and seemed to work fine.

Card One offers a pretty similar-looking unit at:

As it was used on Dodge trucks of the era, perhaps it is the same???
