The world may seem a large place, but even in the smallish capital city here in Australia with only a population of just on one million, there is a car dealer/seller in maybe the same far off/US location with maybe the same name that has sold/sells many/repeated supposed low mile cars in supposed excellent/original condition that maybe/clearly??!! have NOT BEEN AS DESCRIBED  - like a 20k mile Mustang Convert that clearly looks like/is a 120k mile car, another one where cheap/fast black had been very poorly sprayed over engine bay sides/etc and undersides ?! Yet this seller clearly knows original unrusted finishes that should be on these areas, yet says in listings they are as nice as the new paint on outside. And rather than clean the amazing '78 Lincoln Diamiond Jubillee blue cloth interior material, with it's multi pocketed sections and brocade strips, somehow it (just looks like it cheaply/quicker?!) resprayed a darker blue, yet nothing mentioned, and yet they destroys the car forever re those who know what done, and how expensive/difficult to fix?!
 
He knows how to take real good shots if his cars, usually uses two similar brick pavers park like settings, or else in front of old/expensive homes    buyer beware, but his listings seem often targeted at overseas buyers - and by the time car arrives there, they own it, and it long ago paid for !!! Look for supposed one owner low mile cars - that seems his game with late 70s Lincoln MKVs, Cadillacs, other, that he asks around $8-$18k for, although on ebay he starts them way low, but with reserves way high, relisting maybe 3-6 times.
Not to say every car he lists is bad - but how does one tell which are which when near every listing is made up of near exact same copy apart from car numbers, miles etc, etc ?!
 
That is not to say other used car sellers don't use similar tricks, glowing often way optimistic descriptions !!  And just as bad, is the grandson who has been left grandpa's old one owner 70s car, sees speedo says 15k, and of course that is all it has done, and even if later car clearly has damage or rust not mentioned, the grandson will explain they thought it not so bad, as the car so old, like maybe near 40+ years, and most other cars that age rusty or crushed,so this way better than them !!?
 
My 'US car buying sight unseen last 2 years experiences' are generally used car dealers are always risky, yet owners who have owned and loved the car for years safer.
And yet against that, from a Dealer I bought a most amazing near still as new blue DJ Lincoln MK V, and then a gold one from a private knowing collector seller/lover, that maybe is not as good as it could have been - but then both were well below usual prices - best buying tip, is ask what they have not told you about or mentioned - but then if they dishonest, they can then/still give answer you hope/want, even if it a lie.
 
Christopher in Australia - no 300 news, except recently saw the immaculate local black 300F coupe - it now wearing correct tan interior in place of former deep red. And also a few of current new '300s' with their Toyato like grilles are now seen on roads here now.

If I was going up that way (Lakeland), I would check it out since I have a
300 convertible (1968). I was surprised it was customized so much when I
saw the pictures. I thought from the description (very glowing) that it
would be stock. Engine does not look right color but maybe it is a TNT and
that was their color. Seats and interior trim is not correct as you can
tell, I assume it has been lowered a few inches. It says factory air in
description but the window sticker does not mention it. Must have been
parts from a different car to change it out that much (dash openings, etc).
I did not check the VIN against the window sticker or the factory plate but
is this the car where the paint was chipping off the factory plate which I
did not understand, That might have been another car I was looking at
though.
