There is no difference in rebuild kits. There are some difference in governor, pressure springs and forward or second gear band ratio, that you will not be replacing or changing anyway. I like to have a lot of clearance in the high/reverse drum clutch. This gives more time fo the second gear band to release before high gear during full throttle acceleration avoiding bind up. that causes a high wear and rough shift. A Gil Younger shift kit can also help improve life and shift firmness less the bind up.
