I agree with the NYS 'above the dash' law. I would find it very distracting 
to have a brightly colored screen in my line of vision. Wish CT would adopt 
same.

I keep mine on a little shelf below the radio of my daily driver. Not 
visible from outside the car and I can stick it in my pocket when I leave 
the car on the street or in a parking lot. As long as I can hear it, I'm 
good to go.
