 ron.... look on top of the frame on the right hand side next to the muffler , or on the side of the frame . similar  location.....   bob hayen

  Hello, everyone:

  I am about to do a frame-off on E #292. I really don't want to revisit the 
  discussion on the secrecy of this that took place sometime ago, but need to know 
  where the VIN is stamped on the frame so I don't obliterate it. I have 
  since noticed on my '08 HHR SS that the VIN number is practically pasted on 
  every visible piece.

  Is this still an issue with club members? Can anyone give me an idea where this 
  is?
