RE: [Chrysler300] 1957 Chrysler 300C fans & rear springs

Gil/others

1) do you mean by 'Silent-Flite', that the 300C fan should have a fluid or solid coupling. I originally thought they would be liquid/fluid, but it seems pretty common to find fan bolted solid to water pump through just a fairly narrow alloy spacer?

2) Gil or others - sorry to ask, it told plenty of times before - what is easiest way to order pair of 300C rear springs from Club connected supplier. Looked in latest Club Mag, but on first look/read, did not see advert/details.

And I can ship out of either East Coast or West Coast, but I think East Coast is cheaper to send them to, as it nearer who makes them?

And I think I also know they do not copy the original centre grooved spring leaf/plates - is that correct. But they likely make car ride/handle way better, so that acceptable losse from originalty onthe car they for.

All:
Note that the Granatelli 300F is one of the 400HP 4 speed cars. As far as
I know, it has never been determined which one.

Also regarding the 300C Silent-Flite viscous drive fan. It was standard
on all 300Cs, AC or not. Both the AMA specs and the 300C Service Manual
Supplement agree. The non-AC 300C did not use a shroud. The fan diameter was
18". Blade spacing differed AC to non AC, but the number of blades was 6
in all cases. Whether or not "substitutions" ---wink-wink---were made, I
don't know, but Chrysler's intention was a Silent-Flite fan for every 300C.

The twin supercharged 300F is pretty well documented if you go on Google.
Andy set a one way record of almost 190 mph on the beach at Daytona during
