[Chrysler300] F voltage reg

Yesterday the voltage regulator went south. The F was changed to
alternator years ago and had a mechanical vr for a 61 on it and worked
nicely. I've had a solid state Regitar C524 vr as a spare for years and
put it on the car. It definitely charges but at idle the battery
voltage seems to be about 13.1 volts and with rpm up it rides at 15.1
volts. I'm happy with the fact that it is charging now but I'm thinking
that 15 volts is too high. Anyone have any thoughts or experience on this?

Thanks
