As a FL resident, I often do not agree with Governor Scott on many issues, but I say kudos to him for this one.  We have a couple of ethanol free stations near us which we understood were grandfathered in, but only for a limited time.  Perhaps this will enable them to serve up ethanol free forever, and maybe some new ones will enter the fold.
 
Way to go FL legislature and Gov. Scott!  We old car and boat enthusiasts owe you a debt of gratitude.

Ethanol Back In The News 

An important landmark event happened back in May when Florida Governor Rick Scott signed into law legislation designed to repeal the requirement that all gasoline offered for sale in the state contain a percentage of ethanol. While several other states, including Maine and Oregon, had similar legislation considered, however only the Florida bill became law and the others were either dismissed or died in session.
