[Chrysler300] Re: paint





The years have not been kind to the clear coat/base coat paint schemes.  Many cars past 12 years in these parts have a sunburned look and dull color under the flake.  If you are making a flat-bed queen than the really high gloss of modern paint makes sense but perhaps you need a climate controlled garage so as to keep the paint lovely.  I elected to be a scofflaw and smuggled in some acrylic enamel for my 66 rag and really like that it is tough and looks like the 66's I drove as new cars for Chrysler-Plymouth
