RE: [Chrysler300]

Good to see a member’s car get in the press. Also good to see in the article an Aussie Ute get a mention. They are getting scarce over here as they typically got used and abused – as a ute should of course.

Cheers

Hi All,

Just a quick note I figured would interest the club. This past weekend we here in Las Vegas had what used to be called Mopars At The Strip but thanks to the powers that be at Chrysler, they had to change the name to Moparty At The Strip because Chrysler didn’t want them using the name. Anyway, back to the 300 end of the story. I had my 1970 300 Hurst at the show and on Friday afternoon a gentleman came by and ask if he could take some pictures of my car, I said sure. He then informed me that he was from Popular Hotrodding Magazine and wanted to make my Hurst one of their Top Ten Car Picks for the show. So if you go on popularhotrodding.com and check the event page and then check the Moparty At The Strip article, you can see the Top Ten Picks. Not a whole lot of three hundreds there but there was a J for sale in the car coral. It needed restored and they were asking $15,000.

On another note, I got to meet Bill Allen and his wife Marilyn from New Mexico and he invited me and all 300 members to come to New Mexico in September for a joint East Coast/West Coast Chrysler 300 Meet. I hope to see many members at this meet.

Tom Kunkle from sunny Las Vegas Nv.
