[Chrysler300] Window trim removal from G

I am trying to remove window trim from my G. There seems to have been some kind of adhesive (or maybe lubricant when applied)  at the clips. The lower trim on the rear window came off fairly easy. The side portion are loose on both sides, but there is a small kink on the driver side from prying it loose. I quit because the trim across the top is very firmly attached and I don't want any more kinks.
I am consulting the experts for the best technique for damage free removal.
Thanks,
