This is a great story.  We also have a bootlegger of the 300F variety.  There was a black 60 300F that now belongs to PH Craig in North Carolina.  He heard rumor that it had been involved in bootlegging with no less than Jimmy Johnson of NASCAR fame.   PH was able to catch up with the famous/infamous personality and Jimmy verified that he did run a fair amount of moonshine in that 60 F.
