Re: [Chrysler300] DRIVE SHAFT BOOT 1964

The first time I thought I had a Heart Attack.  Doing 110MPH on the Long Beach, CA freeway at 5 am when the Boot let go on my 60 Ram Induction Dodge . With all that rubber hitting the floor boards and the Cloud of smoke in the Rear View Mirror,  I thought my Heart came out of my Chest.     Gary Barker

Had that problem on a 63.  It split the front boot on a tour and I had 30 miles of it getting louder and louder until it finally flew off.  Had a competent drive shaft company remove both u joints and replace with modern Splicer.  Never have to worry about the joints again.

Both drive shafts,  boots are ripped.
Who would have the split boots , which can be replaced with out pressing off the front housing shaft?
