Re: [Chrysler300] 64 413 AC radiator cap.

A item routinely overlooked is the air dam between the closed hood and the top of the bulkhead.  Many vehicles came with one and all vehicles can benefit from one.  The more stuff in the engine bay the greater the air pressure behind the fan.  That causes heated air to pass freely over the bulkhead and through the radiator (convector) in a vicious cycle.  Block that path and all heated air must leave the engine compartment.  Has worked for me many times.

After installing the new 4 core with shroud, 7 blade fan and 160 thermo, the 300 runs hot, close to the upper limit.
Have not driven it yet, only raised the idle to 2k, and the gauge dropped a bit to the left.

The block is a new build with 200 or less miles, clean on the inside.
The cap is a 13 #.  No leaks. runs hot.

Any thing look incorrect ?

Thanks,
