It sounds like part of the wiper control system. Probably triggers the wiper motor when that "wonderful" w/shield washer system starts to perform!

I have a part that we can't identify. Has two red/yellow connections, a split brown/blue connection, had a round piece at one end with what appears to be a vacuum receptacle on it.
