RE: [Chrysler300] 300E Exterior Color

Randy:

Way to tie down a nice E.  It’s really hard to strip off a good paint job just to bring it back to showroom stock.  Ten years from now you’ll wish you had.

I’d say drive it, show it and enjoy it for a while and then take a break while a most excellent paint job is laid down for posterity.

See John Holst’s site for a paint chip.  A pretty reddish copper.  http://www.jholst.net/paint-codes/paint-code.pdf            Don’t let your color guy tip the aluminum powder syrup can too much as the originals did not have as much “poly” as current formulas.

Hi Randy,

There are at least 9 300Es that are known by the Club that are Copper Spice.  That makes it pretty rare and definitely and collectible.

I bought a 300E at auction this past weekend and found that the original color was Copper Spice (code ZZZ) that I think was a bit unusual? I can't find images of any on the web and am wondering if there are some in the club?
