[Chrysler300] RE: 1961 G Inside Mirror

Thank you for all for your responses, it sounds like both styles are correct. As long as we are on the subject, has anyone had theirs restored? Specifically having the mirror redone. Mine probably only has about half the surface that is viewable, with the rest having lost its ”silver”.

Subject: 1961 G Inside Mirror

I have been looking for a better version of the stock mirror for my G (mine has quite a bit of white sections on the mirror), and now am not sure if mine is stock. Looking on e-bay and other sites there seems to be several types, all stating OEM. The one that came with my car has the day/night buttons on the bottom in black plastic and a ribbed aluminum back. The original G that was on JC Auto’s site has a mirror that is very similar, but has a chrome toggle switch for day/night on the bottom. Are both styles correct for the car?

Thanks in advance.
