Many people poo poo Split Fire plugs, but I used them for years, won a lot of trophies drag racing with them.  Do they add a lot?  I can't really say, but do they hurt?  Not at all.

I run Autolite 85 plugs in my G, and it runs fantastic, even with fuel containing ethanol.  Follow the tune-up procedure in the factory service manual.
