Love your style Tony!
I have the engineering development book about that plane ,arcangel, (sp?) etc . It was , er, a little fussy ---in going off even 1 degree , off level flight at speed ! Smile
–maybe ---You probably can drive my car!
Go McDonnel-Douglas skunkworks! 100 guys, the best ----- I used their motto in my engineering (x ray co) : Lighten it; simplicate it; lighten it again!
Guys, think 2200 mph and tipping the nose up or down. Not a pretty thought!
And that was pure BS!!
Right. That was claimed by one pilot to have been closer to 2700 mph in the interest of shaking a missile off his tail, and was not official.
