RE: [Chrysler300] new generation

maybe we should form a support group for those of us with sons who could care less about our collections.
the only one my 22 year old is very mildly attentive to is my only post 61 car..a 70 barracuda 4speed 383 convertible!
oh and of course he pays attention to auction results when channel surfing and sees car like one of mine.

my son age 48 prefers my 65 4 sp-V8 valiant to my 57 C / both are fun cars to me / tho he appreciates the 57 C, I expect it will be up for sale when I'm gone.  (but I will never know, will I ?).    : )

Totally agree with your statement.  I never thought my '67 GTX (10,000 made) would bring near the amount of my "G".  As the baby boomers keep fading away, so do the interest in the 300's.  My son, who is 30, is only interested in the muscle cars.  He is OK with me selling the 300 but he wants the GTX after I'm pushing up daisies.

How many times are we going to be astonished how low (seriously???) these cars are selling for before it dawns on us that they aren't worth as much as they were a few years ago?

There are only a handful of people in this world who like the G enough to spend 6 figures on one. And now that a few more have been restored due to their rise in popularity, there's enough in the world for all of them to own one. As the prices fall, the interest in owning one may rise again for those previously priced out of the market.

I'll await the backlash for stating the obvious. Good night all.

Could it be the color? I've never seen a G in black cherry.

What in the world was wrong with the G convert that sold for 80+K?
