I paid $3,500 to have one of my 413's done last year.
Plan to pay the same for another 413 to be done this year.
I also have paid $3,500 to rebuild a late 40's Ford Flathead last year; and that was with modern pistons, rods & a stroked crankshaft.

Did you do the assembly and disassembly your self?
I might expect to see pistons  a big chunk of a  $1000 bill for a 413, pin fitted etc.

i think it depends on wear you live. in NY i paid 3.000 for a complete rebuild. with machine work on a 383, and all new parts except pistons. just built a 454 Chevy 550 hp for  5.500     joe luciano   62 sport convt
