[Chrysler300] Our Holland Meet - Less than a month away!

Hello Everyone,

Looking forward to our upcoming Holland, Michigan Meet, hosted by Judy and Keith Boonstra, that will include a [car] cruise on Saturday to the Gilmore Car Museum in nearby Hickory Corners, MI for our car show.

Coincidentally, yesterday I received the following email from Gilmore. I know many of you have visited it, as have I, but for those of you who haven't been to it yet, you're in for a real treat! White rail fencing surrounding acres of beautiful grounds with many buildings full of cars and automobilia. Even an iconic black-over-bronze '63 Chrysler Turbine Car. And a photo op with your 300, or other Mopar, in front of a period Shell Gas Station.

Check out Gilmore's website - http://www.gilmorecarmuseum.org/ - for more information.

See you there! I'm still collecting registrations,

The Donald Gilmore Collection:
Celebrating 50 Years

In honor of our 50th Anniversary, this year-long Special Exhibit showcases the automobiles that started it all – some of museum founder Donald Gilmore’s first collector cars! What started in 1963 as a hobby for Donald S. Gilmore, a retired executive of pharmaceutical giant The Upjohn Company, soon grew to over 45 cars.  At the urging of his wife Genevieve, the non-profit Gilmore Car Museum opened its doors to the public for the first time in 1966 with Otto Kneble of Star City, IN as our first paying customer.

Who could have envisioned fifty-years ago that the Gilmore Car Museum would become one of largest and most respected auto museum in the nation? Today, more than 500 amazing automobiles ranging from horseless carriages to classic Duesenbergs, the elusive Tucker to the Model T, and even Muscle Cars are showcased throughout the 90-acre Historic Campus.
