If on a hill FYI, on gear, it can very slowly roll against the compression over a few days, until stops against something . Ask me how I know that! Plus turning engine backwards ……
Whenever you park a manual transmission equipped car with the transmission set in the lowest forward gear, a parking brake is unnecessary, but a nice back up.
