RE: [Chrysler300] Survey - 300F Grille Hardware





It would seem from forces involved they have to be there , or chance of cracking grill on shock load ( bump) . Easy to make if you had to a machine shop , aluminum.

Trying to find out if every 300F came with angled spacers under the screws that hold the horizontal bars to the grille shell. You can see a picture of the ones on my car at the link below.

The grille from my old car does not have these but I don't know if the grille shell had been replaced or if the spacers might have fallen out. Another car is also missing them but it has a broken grille shell. The parts book does not show these spacers.
