Nicely done. Great publicity for our club. Maybe post a link on the website and the club's facebook page ?A couple of minor factual discrepancies: No hemis in '59...not even in Imperial. Also, hydramatic, not hydraglide, GM tranny.Just curious, Bob J...how long did it take to shoot that episode and was it scripted, or were you guys just talking off the top of your heads ?Ron----- Original Message -----Sent: Monday, July 11, 2016 1:45 AMSubject: [Chrysler300] Leno's Garage 300G video
The 27 minute, plus clip is “up” at: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FpC92FMwxz8 All did go well. You did a great job of providing history and high points.
I’m sure all members of both clubs will want to view the video and appreciate your contribution to the spreading of the word and publicizing the marque.

About a year and a half ago, I got a call from Jay Leno about a couple of 300G coupes he was looking at. One of the cars was local to him, and he ended up buying it. He invited me to see it, so I went down last December. While I was there, he mentioned doing a video on the car, and that he'd be in touch once he did some work on it. So, last week, out of the blue, he called me about coming down on Wednesday and doing the video, so I flew down, went to his garage in Burbank and did the video with him. He mentioned it would be about 2-3 weeks before it would be on YouTube, but, this afternoon he called and said it was going up early tomorrow morning. As respective presidents of the two great 300 clubs, and as a proud member of both, I wanted to share the news with you. Since I haven't seen the finished product, I'm a bit nervous about the outcome, but everything seemed to go well.
