Harry:

I purchased a new trunk lining kit and jacking instructions from Gary Goers and believe I installed the sticker in the correct place. On the LH rear-facing panel of the liner—just behind the spare tire which is mounted on the LHS of the trunk floor in convertibles. The spare tire is mounted under the parcel tray in coupes and sedans as there is no top well to get in the way. I believe the jack instruction would go in the same place on convertibles, coupes & sedans but it might make sense to mount the instruction sticker on the RHS panel of a convertible where it would not be partially hidden by the spare tire. The attached picture includes a rather nice 8.55 x 14 bias-ply Goodyear Power Cushion spare tire with 0.70” WSW. I think the tire size nomenclature changed from 8.50 x 14 to 8.55 x 14 in 1965. The WSW also became narrower.
