Re: [Chrysler300] Well, that didn't work!!

For you who want a forum setup for letter cars—then you do it.  I am happy with the current list serve, as are most of those who posted.  Pete Fitch was correct in suggesting that those who want it should be the ones to do it.  I was informed by Mr. Baldus’ response yesterday that clearly he wanted somebody else to do it so that he could enjoy the fruits with no effort on his part.

When I posted to the FL page with a photo of my L it was removed with the note that only forward look vehicles were included.  So, I don’t think the FL listing will take all our letter cars.

Once again, no need to create something that already exists.  The forward look site would love to have the 300 club actively posting and commenting.  There is a lot of cross over when it comes to help.  Each of these niche's will struggle to support it's own forum.  Nothing would be better than Imperial/Desoto/300 clubs all being in one place as a support system.

Hi Ron,
Yes, please talk to the people you mentioned and report back to us.  We need to be advised of all costs, start-up and continuing.  We would also need someone to volunteer to run it.  Would you be interested?
300ly,
Gloria

It may be worth talking with Dave Stragand, the owner of the Forward Look site. I believe he has the site set up to be self-sustaining with the ads paying for the upkeep. Need to verify this.

Also, the Desoto Club is using forums software, likely provided by GoDaddy, who hosts their site. Talk to Tim Bowers about this.

What was is a note elsewhere on that site that it costs about $250 per month to keep that fourm on line, this in addition to other
