RE: [Chrysler300] 57-58 Chrysler Park Brake component

Hi Ron,

This is how to obtain the Merle Wolfer CD.

Merle Wolfer’s “Restoring A Letter Series 300” of his 300D. It is sold  on a CD and when printed which I had done is 88 pages in color. It has 19 chapters, an index, suppliers and Ross Roy Specs. Every page has pictures showing various parts that were rebuilt etc.

The Chrysler 300 Club, Inc. sells the CD for $12.00.  Contact George VerBerkmoes, PO Box 874, Lakeside, CA 92040. He is the Club Store Manager

Hi Marv - Yes, a photo would help. It may have been used on other late 50s Mopars as well.

Also, can you post information on how to get ahold of one of Merle's DVDs. I hadn't heard of this before now.

Ron

I am in the final assembly of my 58 300 D and need help locating a critical link for the emergency brake.

I cannot find the lever arm that pivots from the top of the cowl and connects the transmission brake cable to the Instrument panel located brake handle. After nearly 20 years in disassembly this is one of the few parts I cannot locate.
Does anyone have a parts car that I might purchase said link from?.  I can send a picture of the part I am in need of courtesy of Merle Wolfer's great DVD on restoring a Letter series 300.  I would appreciate any help or leads to finding this linkage.  I do not want to install the instrument panel until I have it.   Thank you and Merry Christmas to all.     Marv Raguse
