RE: [Chrysler300] Rocker Moulding Removal

Remove the screw first. Then push up on the bottom of the trim while pulling out at the top of the trim. Start at the front and release each trim clip, one at a time. After each clip is released, slide a piece of thin cardboard or something between the trim piece and the rocker so the trim doesn’t re-engage the clip. If the trim doesn’t disengage, try it in the opposite direction. Push down on the trim while pulling out at the bottom of the trim.

Scooter,

Thanks for the reply.

The 62 rocker mouldings are held on with clips that are screwed onto the rocker panels.

Only one visible screw is at the very front of the moulding.

What I don't know is if there is away to pry them off of the clips, or if I remove the screw, can I pull/ slide the moulding forward for removal

Doug

Rocker panel moldings ar e held on with screws. If tight strike the screw with a hammer that will break them loose from rust. Not rocket science.
