Our server protects you against some virus’ by stripping pictures and any other attachment.  The other recipients would have received their pictures unless their computers were set up to similarly protect.  I will forward the original message to you with attachments and to any others that want to view the pix.  While on the subject, the 1964 FirePower 360 (single-carb) engines had a different stamping.

Attached is a photo of mine as well as the one in question. Each indicates the digits and letters were stamped on individually—and the font looks the same. The “C” is a little small in both pictures.

To me, the only engine stamping shown has the correct content, but looks sloppy and non-factory. However, I haven't had the chance to look at mine to see exactly what it looks like.

I noticed in the Portland area a ad for a 57 300C for 10k plus kind of a roach.

The engine pad on the 300K the C looks too small? not aligned the way I am used to seeing.

The engine id stamp in the one photo is most definitely a 300K ram engine.

All,

I found the ad below on Craigslist, and am fairly sure that the description of both cars being original ram cars is incorrect.

Not bad cars, just an inaccurate description
