Re: [Chrysler300] 300 G at auction

I can't watch it live any more. It wouldn't bother me a bit if I never saw another Corvette, Camaro, Chevelle, or Mustang cross the block but evidently that's what sells advertising.

Be smart, set the PVR to record it, then run through it in fast motion, stopping only for the stuff that interests you. I find about 12 minutes of worthwhile footage for every hour. The most frustrating thing is when you see an interesting car, occasionally a 300, heading to the block and you miss it because of a commercial break. Then back to, ooohhhh another "rare" Mustang fastback....this ones blue!

Disappointing to say the least, but not surprising.

Just in case you needed to know, this was sent from my iPhone.

Watched the B-J Scottsdale auction all evening. No 300G crossed the block on air. Disappointing.

I just got the following note from Irban Aumann:

"Keith they changed the time to 5.15 to 6.00 Az time today."

That would be 7:15 to 8:00 for us in the Eastern zone.

Our good friend Irban also says:

"We are not very good with computers i am celebrating
my 84th  B -Day tomorrow my wife did her 84th Jan 3.rd

Thanks Keith,  we really enjoyed the 300 club everyone is
so helpful.  I got to know alot fabricating shops over the years
i have 25 0r 30 cars in my short life time.  I am not ready to
throw the towel in yet there is a trim piece that goes on the back
of a 61 G it goes from tail light housing to tail light housing and
it is 57 11/16 inches long what i am looking for is just a piece
8 or 10 inches long  so i can get a good pattern i think i can re-pop
that, any way i am going to try.  Yes this was my last one i am selling
it at no reserve.  What a great car."

It could happen that we'll be able to catch it crossing the block. Velocity is broadcasting the B-J Scottsdale auction live today from 1:00 to 10:00. Unfortunately the coverage of the auction action is quite patchy, with something like 1/3 of the air time consisting of cutaways to either color commentary from Chris Jacobs and Dave Kindig - which can be interesting but distracting, or to advertising - which can run in strings several minutes long. A lot of the action on the block is skipped over and never seen.

Noel Hastalis was planning to attend. Maybe he'll be able to watch the G auction as it happens.

Irbann Aumann's car is set to be sold this evening between 6:00 and 6:30 ET at the Russo and Steele auction. Vin # 8413142068. I was able to view some of the auction on cable earlier this week but do not know if the live broadcast will show up this evening. Hope it does.
