Re: [Chrysler300] 1955 Chrysler/Desoto Trunk Weatherstrip

Yes, the Steele item is expense but it fits very nicely.  After many years of dealing with a poor fitting seal, it is great having a seal that fits perfectly on my 55 C300.

Good luck!

Hey Everyone -

Any advice on trunk weatherstrip for 55 Chrysler/Desoto ? All the repro stuff out there doesn't look like the original. Steele's weatherstrip would probably work, but the $89 price is a bit steep. Would love to find some good original (square-ish foam piece with thin rubber topping).
