The J went to a local bidder for $9000 + 15%.

He is OK with giving the club his name.

All that remains is the frame and the sheet metal from the firewall back.

No engine, trans, drive line or interior.

Looks like it was rolled in an accident.

Looked at the J today - It's all there - even the wheel covers are inside the car.

VIN - 8433220996.

Minimal surface rust - was a Nevada car.

Needs restoration but probably easier than an East coast car.

7 years or so ago, I almost bought it for $4500 - I was able to turn the engine over then.

Current on-line bid was $4600 when I last looked.

Auction starts at 10:00AM Pacific time tomorrow.

Check "americanauctioneers.com" for pictures and bidding info.

I plan to be at the site tomorrow to watch the bidding - think that the J is the 5th to be auctioned.
