Re: [Chrysler300] Ball and Trunion Grease ?

Charlie,
I used Red and Tacky when restoring my 58 Windsor. It's very thick and I thought it might withstand the centripetal force of the driveshaft a bit better.  i suppose that's why they had the fibers in there in the original grease.   It has come out a bit on the brake drum end, but not too bad after 10 years.

Subject: [Chrysler300] Ball and Trunion Grease ?

When rebuilding the Ball and Trunion Joint the Service Manual calls for 2 ounces of Fibrous Universal Joint Grease.

Does anyone know the source for an equivalent modern day grease ?

What have others used while rebuilding your joints ?
