Re: [Chrysler300] Hood strut/300C?

Larry,
The two struts appeared first on the D.  They were not on the C.  I noticed this at the Spring 2008 Meet in Rhinelander, WI when peering under the hood of Jack Wiltse’s D.  After the meet I obtained a set from Desert Valley Auto Parts in AZ and had them body color painted and installed them in my C.  Remarkable structural rigidity difference especially noticed when turning into my inclined driveway.  300’ly, Rob Kern

Are you talking about the 2 struts under the hood  that go between the fender & the firewall & the other 2 in the fender wells total of 4 struts?

If so, I do not think they came on the C but they did come on the D

Asking if the C came with 2 strut rods?

Found 2 rods in box of misc parts left over from the 2001 restoration project and were labeled 'Hood Struts".

Appreciate any and all responses.
