Re: [Chrysler300] 300H - 413 Main Seal leaking

Tom

Dominic Rinaldi replaced the rear main on my ‘65 Dodge Coronet (with a seriously reworked 440) without removing the engine. He also installed an improved-design rear lower aluminum cap that I bought from 440 Source at the same time. I had no leakage whatsoever afterwards.

Hi Tom,

You can do it with the engine in the car. I did it on our 1957 300C while I
was changing the rod and main bearings my years ago.

I'm considering replacing the rear crankshaft main seal on my 300H. Some say
I have to have the engine removed. Are there any shortcuts?
