I had a '57 Plymouth back in the day and really tightened the nut holding the stem of the mirror.  Never moved as long as I owned the car.  Loved that dash mounted mirror.

The one I have looks good but will not hold its position.  It moves straight down with each bump, etc.  Any available out there that you know of, please?
