The motor assemblies are very common (same part 57-9 DPCD) and can probably be had for under $50. IMHO not worth the effort/cost of repair.

In my area there is a company that can rewind and repair motors if they cannot replace your bad one.  Perhaps there is a like company in your area.  I will send their particulars if you want  it.

If anyone has a working windshield wiper motor/transmission or a lead to one, I would appreciate hearing from you.

The armature is now shot in my existing motor, and another one I bought through ebay in ‘as is’ condition also has a bad armature.
