Re: [Chrysler300] wheel covers on Craigs

I have those hubcaps on my 1967 Dodge Monaco 500 with the disc brakes. The center is more gold than red. Otherwise, it's the same.. It's a 15" rim whereas the standard full size Dodge without disc brakes in 1967 is a 14" rim.

Rich;
 My '66 300 Convertible had disc brakes and those Hubcaps. I installed the '66 Spinner caps since I loved the look.

OK.  What about The Rest of the Story?  Why are they different for disc-braked cars?  I can imagine the words “DISC BRAKES” to be printed on the wheel covers?

They are disc brake wheel covers. They were on a 1966 300 we had back then.

Those appear to be ‘66 disc brake covers

I spotted these wheel covers a few weeks ago on Craigslist, and noticed they were still listed today.  Even though they are listed for a 300, I don’t recognize them as being correct for any letter car, maybe a sport 300.  Any input from the list as to application?

I don’t need them but someone may, I’m curious what they were used on.
