A couple of comments on this ad.  I've seen it a few times and tried to figure out where it was shot.  If by chance it was done in California I have strong suspicions that the car belongs to Paul Schinnerer of Long Beach, CA.  Should I be correct the car is actully a 1958 but I can't make out the letter on the side badge.

I've know Paul for years and he did have a red (color change I think) D convertible but had installed 1957 tail lights as he didn't like the '58 examples.  This car also has 1957 wheel covers.

Paul is mainly a Caddy guy, owning two 16 cylinder examples.  He is up there in years and I haven't talked to him in a while.

I was watching TV last night and this ad came on for Consumer Cellular. I thought I saw a 300 in a shot at a car show, it is was a very brief shot, and I was uncertain as to what I saw. So today I spent a little time and found it, fast forward to the 40 second mark and you can see as red 300C convertible. Who’s car is it?
