Re: [Chrysler300] Looking For Real Solutions to Real Potential Problems

You will want the taller transmission dipstick tube for the 727-A. From J and K ram. Everything thing else pretty straight forward. I did this change over with an adapter plate .625" thick, retained the 61 crank. Crank adapter and a 426 Hemi style flex plate. Your way will be easier.

Subject: [Chrysler300] Looking For Real Solutions to Real Potential Problems

Hi everyone,
I am looking for someone to identify the problems and give actual , detailed solutions when installing an engine and 1962 transmission in a 300G.
When I bought my G it came with a rebuilt engine with a crankshaft from a 440. It also came with a rebuilt 1962 transmission.

Has anyone done this successfully ? If so , can you please give me a complete list of the problems you ran into and what you did to correct each problem to make this work ?

Work is finally progressing on my G and your help would be greatly appreciated.

Be careful, be safe and be well during this pandemic,

Charlie Valentine
