That is a matter of what you define as the outside. Inside the tire (as such, usually hidden) was what I thought about when calling the location outer side of the rim. But in hindsight I should have called it the rim outer perimeter or something like that as the wheel already has an outside and inside related to the car.

Narve,

I have never seen Motor Wheel Co visible from the outside of the wheel. I always saw it with tire removed and inside. I have several and all on inside..

An original wheel would have “Made in the USA by MOTOR WHEELS” imprinted on the rim outside.

Josh, those look like aftermarket ones. Note that they have dual bolt patterns to fit both the Chrysler and Imperial. Original ones would be one bolt pattern or the other.
