I recall that there was to be no penalty in concours judging for period-correct safety device such as seat belts. Early belts had pretty plain buckles and even Chrysler part numbers sewed to them. I checked the back page of my 300C brochure that lists Standard and 'Optional' equipment available, and there's no mention of seat belts on the list of available options there, either. Guess it was only a 'dealer installed' option, not from factory.
Unless my memory fails me, he was chasing Maybelline, but he was driving a Ford.

But I get your point and don’t disagree. My problem with masks is that my glasses totally fog and I can’t see where I am going. Pete You have to take care of yourself and do what you want. We’re never going to get out of this if people don’t do the minimum to try and stop the spread. I assume you wore your seatbelt while driving there even though there was little chance you would get in a crash. No one is wearing masks Only required in buildings..
