Hi Mike, Wish I could help but I sent my spare set to a fellow 300 ite. Years ago. It does look from the pic you sent that the pieces could be cleaned up with aluminum polish/ cleaner? And would probably look a lot better.I Don,t know the issues with them. My spare set came from a 1960 Saratoga. Try Murray park to see if he has a Saratoga sitting around in his vast collection of c body cars he has, and he does have hundreds of c bodies.
